Does the external ground connect allow for a truly seperate path to earth?
I am not quite clear on this point. This unit obviously will tap into the ground provided by the 120v connector on the wall. Does the external ground connector on the rear of the box provide an alternative path to earth? In other words, can I bury a dedicated ground rod to connect to this point for a ground truly isolated from the one in the wall?
